I had a lot of phones in my life, and this has to be the best one! I had the iPhone previously and could not stand it. This is a remarkable phone. I love how thin it is and how fast it works!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

When I first got this phone, I had several problems that others have spoken of--poor GPS, untimely shutdowns, etc. I went online, learned how to root it and upload custom ROMs. Not for the faint of heart, but, now the thing is a dream! Great GPS, no shut downs, blazingly fast, no bloatware and nice to look at as well.
Recommend you go online and check it out.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fun to use
Cons: needs tweaking to work at potential

GIVE US GINGERBREAD ANDROID 2.3 OR HONEYCOMB ANDROID 3.0

Is samsung going the way of other lesser known brands ?
Absolutely no response to outcries for an update to Android 2.3 ? I believed in Samsung, I am a computer hardware dealer and have strongly stood behind Samsung products but will stop selling their line if the update to Gingerbread and Honeycomb does not come soon !
It's absurd to pay such a high price for a phone that lacks the basic updated modern OS !
I request Samsung to pay heed to end users else they will learn the hard lessons Nokia has.....people will simply buy competitors products ! Oh and the battery is a joke ! I have actually been advised to buy the 2000mah or above battery from after market sources ! Atleast give us a good battery for the price !

Great features...needs more apps

Need more apps or same apps as iPhone. I know it's increasing and I'm very pleased with this phone as I actually switched from an iPhone but it would be nice to get some various apps like Angry Birds game...which is so addictive!!

Excellent phone! Have not had any problems with it. The display is so bright and colorful. It is just a great phone. I was an iPhone user and I have to say this phone is much faster than my 3GS....LOL

Good features, but beware!

I initially loved this phone. The speed was right and everything felt right. Then it crashed. Overnight while charging the phone turned it self off and did not let the alarm turn on. Thus began the first of several mornings that I slept through. It will also turn off unexpectedly in the middle of running any app. It happened almost daily, I went through 3 phones before getting one that only shuts down monthly. My wife went through 5 and now has another brand. We did reboot the phone daily. Keep looking!

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
