I was trying to decide wether to get the Captivate or the Iphone. After comparing the two, I believe that the Captivate is superior to the IPhone. I am trying to convince my wife to get rid of her IPhone and get a captivate. This has got to be AT&T's best smartphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight

Battery's great, very smooth scrolling, the camera quality is better then my sisters 10 mega pixel camera! The screen is so VIVID / VIBRANT!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, apps/games, battery

Great smart phone. Awesome features! Battery life is aweful. Full charge to dead in 10-12 hrs. Not a deal breaker for me! I just bought a travel charger!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

I feel naked when I don't have it with me. The phone does every thing I want and then some. My only problem with the phone is the battery life is a little shorter than I would like. Especially if I am running a power hungry app like weather channel.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin
Cons: short battery life

overall the phone is great , aside from the GPS and my rear
speaker not working and having to tap on it from time to time
to get it to come back on. samsung support is pretty fast and
good service. just would rather have a phone that i dont have to send in for repairs all the time. ( rear speaker )

Best phone I've ever had

I LOVE practically everything about this phone. The size is extremely managable it fits easily into a pocket or purse. The screen has the best picture quality I've seen on any phone. Swype is fantastic, especially for me because I have big fingers and usually I have a hard time typing without a keyboard. All the apps that are available make each users experience unique, it all depends on which ones you use, and most are free!!! I wish it had a flash so I could take pictures at night and a front facing camera so I could video chat but those are small cons compared to ALL the pros.
