I wish 2.2 would have made it on it faster. Its been a great phone other than that.

Love this phone, especially more so now that it has been upgraded to Froyo 2.2! I find it to be much faster and responsive. Browsing and apps are a snap and quicker to run than with the preinstalled 2.1. Occasional lag, and Force Closes but this may be more of an app responsibility. I hope I can trade this in for the Galaxy SII when I am elegible to upgrade my phone!

This is by far the best phone I have ever had. I have always had samsung phone's and they always are reliable.

This is a good product, with it's big screen and awesome camera. I like this phone very well. It is one of the best Samsung phones that I have ever had.
I totally love this phone!
-except for when it would not receive messages and I had to factory reset it!

Use the Captivate for all my communications outside of my PC. Quick simple and effective. Touchscreen is better than that of the IPhone.

Almost the ultimate phone

I love this phone. Fast, great display, can actually make phone calls, and SWYPE is fantastic.
I moved from a WM phone with the same carrier so expected the crippling and bloatware. If it were not for a couple of issues, I would have given it 5 stars. GPS performance is disappointing to say the least and the phone occasionally shuts off by itself. If these get resolved, it will be a great phone

Excellent device with a poor battery

This is probably the best android device i have seen so far with so light on weight and so powerful.
Only thing it lacks is a good supportive battery. It dies quickly.
