Love the screen the android system is wonderful! and the camera and video camera is good

I bought my Captivate in December and have yet to come across any real issues and have been extremely impressed and happy with my purchase. Samsung has done "smart phone" right with this model. The extra built in signal reception with Samsung models in itself is a huge bonus for me. Having a stronger signal when my friends and co-workers don't always puts a smile on my face. Not to mention I haven't even put a dent into the built in memory on the phone, much less my own external SD memory card. Can only hope when it comes time to upgrade again that Samsung has gone above par again with their next models.

I have no issues with this phone. Volume is loud and the speaker works great. I can see where it would seem to some that the phone is slow....download an app killer. Battery life is great, downloaded a battery widget to help conserve power. It turns off GPS and Wifi so that it doesnt drain your battery.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I love this phone!!! The AMOLED Display is awesome, and when I put on my headphones and use the 5.1 surround sound to watch a movie on my phone, its like I am in the theatre!

Disappointed with phone. Still using outdated Android software instead of 2.2 which has been out for over year now and featured on Sprints HTC phones. No Flash player available so programs like Hulu won't run. So how is it this phone is supposed to offer multimedia when its a year behind the other players? I finally ditched my old Treo for this thing because I thought I was getting something new. Also having connection issues with Wifi and G3. If I switch off G3, I have to reboot the phone to get it to restart. Same issue with Wifi. Navigating with browser can be a royal pain due to not having same tools as you do with Explorer or Mozilla.
Otherwise the rest of the phone is great as far as touch screen, Swype & free aps. Still having issues trying to migrate my contacts from my Palm Treo to this phone. Eventually I will figure it out.

The USB charger cable does not stay in the phone. If it's bumped just a little it comes out. Took for ever to get the USB software to work. I had to use my old computer, which has XP, my others have Windows 7 64bit.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: usb charger does not stay plugged in

My favorite thing I own by far, does almost anything, had a beautiful large bright big bscreen, so many options and apps
Pros: Bright display, great features, easy to use
Cons: has a lot of gliches, no flash/front facing camera

Amazing phone!! its big but super light weight especially compared to the iPhone 4 which is a bit heavier. Perfect for a female. Has that feminine feature. I already converted two of my friends to get this phone...they were planning to buy the iphone 4 but they changed their minds once they saw my phone!
