I love this phone. I would and have recommended this phone to others.
My only complaint is still no FroYo. I want Android 2.2
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no android 2.2 yet!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Little laggy. Love the phone but wish......drum roll........2.2 Froyo would hurry and arrive.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sound volume for in call and alarms/ringtones lowl

Decent phone, but can be better

The smartphone performance is alright, about what you expect. However, there are some serious hardware and software flaws. The GPS is lousy and unreliable. Most of the time it does not provide real-time information, taking up to 5 minutes to refresh. This is not ideal when you're driving in an unfamiliar city or neighborhood. Then, two months after my purchase, the cellphone started randomly shutting down after I added my Twitter and Facebook accounts. I would leave my cellphone on standby and 30 minutes later the phone shut down. The problem subsisted after a factory restore and was replaced. I hope the replacement does not fail. I cannot help but think that I bought a faulty phone, and wish that I had done a better research prior to my purchase.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, random shutdowns, faulty gps
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone so far (day 4 of owning the phone). Improvements could be on the way the chargining cable connects as it easily disconnects and have to be very delicate with charging the phone. The Andriod OS is not up to date. Awaiting for 4G to take advantage of the processor.

I enjoy the captivate very much. Wish it could do voice command and call people from my contacts, needs a flash for the camera, and a front facing camera for interface interactions but other than that it's a great done.

This is the best phone I have had in a while. The phone has a great design and great performance. My only complaint is that it is not running android 2.2 yet.

the only thing is that it sometimes will freeze not to often. then there is no camera button which makes it hard for pictures nor flash.

Great screen everyone likes how it looks helpful widgets, photos and downlaoded videos look better than were they came from. I really miss a front camera, the speaker sounds too low to be on back and miss a led on back for flash photos.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great screen
Cons: no front camera, no led light for flash, speker low sound
