Blackberry No More!

I have been a BB user for a long time, and I finally switched to Android. I am extremely satisfied so far. My only complaint is that the battery life is not as good as I would have hoped.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

Better than iphone!

I must say that the Captivate is an awesome phone. Did alot of research before choosing this phone and almost got the Sony Xperia but what sealed the deal was the Super Amoled screen. The vibrant screen and resolution is visibly much better than the Xperia and iphone. I expect the Captivate to be as durable as my previous Samsung phones. Great Superphone!!

Cons: no led flash

The phone works awesome. Waaaay better than the iphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery life durable

1. WiFi when switched between unsecured and secured or between 3G and WiFi makes the WiFi inactive. Only phone restart is the solution to get the WiFi working again.
2. After the first update from AT&T server, whenever I do a check for software update, it fails and never gets to AT&T server

Love the phone. Hate the battery. If there was a way to stop countless apps from auto restarting once killed I'm sure the battery would handle a little better. With this said, and Samsung knowing that Android phones are battery killers, it would have been nice of them to try to improve the GUI to address these issues and to attempt to make the battery last longer.

Great phone! Would be better if it had a flash and a program to run the front facing camera, for video chat.

Super cool phone for cool dad says my teen daughter

I love all the feature packed in this phone. I never leave it behind as I use many of the data features daily. My daughter told me it is the coolest phone I ever own.I love it.

This is the best phone I have ever owned. I haven't had any problems using it, it's really easy. Downloading apps is a cinch, the camera and video works beautifully. The first few days I had it I couldn't put it down.
