The IPhone Killer
on December 29, 2010

Almost everything I own in my house is Samsung so I Like to stick with the best. plus my other Phone for work is half as good as this one and its an IPhone.
This phone is amazing. The graphics are excellent and crystal clear. The new amo led screen makes the touch screen a breese. The android OS is always great. this phone is hands down a must.
Though I am not a big fan of Samsung's and ATT's customizations on Android, I am a HUGE fan on the hardware. Usually new hardware is outdated within weeks of release and you are stuck with a product that does not hold its value. Not so with the Galaxy S line. For well over 6 months now the Galaxy S has been the top of the line android phone. And with an upgrade to Android 2.3 and some tweaking this phone truly is incredible. Though offical support is somewhat lacking there is a large community of users out there devoted to making the most out of this awesome phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm Captivated

I've had the phone now for 7 days, and it a really good phone. I've been following it since the summer and finally could afford one.
One of my concerns in actually buying this was the GPS problem the series has had. I'm glad to report I've had no problems with it. It's working great and locks on very fast.
I've listed the no front facing camera and no led flash as cons. For some they are, but I think they fall into the category of "nice to have".
Now we need 2.2 or 2.3 of android to be released and we'll be set.
Pros: call quality, crystal clear screen
Cons: no front facing camera, no led flash, still on android 2.1
