Iphone 4 killer

I just gave my wife my iphone 4 to get the Samsung Capitvate phone. At first I was feeling a bit nervous because I was so used to the iphone and the fact that it's very simple to navigate and operate. But after spending a couple of hours with the Captivate...I have found it to be that much more than my old friend the iphone. The Captivate in my opinion has a much better design, with a larger screen and comparible preformance to the i4. I have found this phone to be a much better choice for me. This phone has many more customisable features as opposed to the iphone. Great Phone and has definitely made me a fan in just a few short hours.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

My Samsung Captivate is like having all of the information you need at your finger tips! Check the weather, Mobile Banking, talk to it and ask it how to spell a word, full internet acess, beautiful bright screen, 5meg camera, and the list goes on and on!

Great Alternative To IPhone Users

I have to say I am very satisfied with my phone so far, having only one complaint. I am really looking forward to the new 2.02 Froyo update which is available on many other android phones, but has yet to become available to anyone with a GalaxyX phone.

Phone needs a lot of work

I am on my 4th Captivate since August and have to take this one back. Among the issues I have are: GPS of course, very slow and sluggish, keeps either not using the ringtone I assign or reverts it back to default, I delete email and it keeps coming back as new mail (one day 9 times for same email), keeps freezing up, sends and receives a text message in mutliples sometimes (one message that I got came in 8 times all at once). Battery life stinks. Most days can't make it through the day on one charge. The phone would be great if it worked right. I like the size of the screen and the feel of the phone. As with other people I don't like the AT&T bloatware. The camera takes good pics except no flash. The quality of the screen is excellent.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
