Nice surprise

The good:
I first heard so many good things about this phone, it's fast hummingbird processor, its amazing screen, good battery life, and so on, but when I actually bought it from the store and turned it on I was instantly impressed. The screen was responsive and the colors were AMAZING. It zipped through everything that I needed it to do. The audio quality on both the speaker for the media and the speaker for calls were both amazing. Everything played back on it great. And, it didn't feel cheaply built and fragile like alot of smartphone built nowadays.

To the bad:
I have yet to get the android 2.2 update while almost everyone else has it.
Annoying drivers need to be installed to plug the phone into the computer. Needs to be plug and play.
Theres no front facing camera.
The on board camera doesn't have flash

I would recommend this phone to anybody. It has great features, it's fast, and fun =]

I was expecting a good phone, but instead I got an Amazing phone!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera, great battery, good sound quality, very fast, media works great
Cons: no forward facing camera, no update for android 2.2 as of yet, no flash on the camera, no voice commands, annoying drivers for a usb to computer connection, no plug and play for the computer, no flash player installed
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love it, except the sleep problem!

The phone is great. I love it, even more than my wife's iPhone. The only problem with it is the sleep problem. It's a shame that you have to download an app to keep your phone from going into sleep mode at random times. Ohh, and the telephone speaker is very quiet. I have to use the "speaker phone" option while I'm in the car.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: sleep mode, poor telephone speaker

Great phone. No major issues. The only negative I could find is that there is no flash.

I need to be available for support of clients across 3 time zones and two countries. If a problem arises and I can fix it quick, customers feel safe and happy to pay the monthly service fees.
There a enough tools available to the android platform that I can pick and choose, from a variety, or even use different tools which solve different customer issues.
And there are a huge number of experienced geeks that are generous with their knowledge and encouragement when a new solution needs to be found...
Did I say, "I love the Android Community"? That really says it all, I'm not alone in my endeavors with this product. And Samsung has made a very solid, fast and stable piece of equipment that handles the each of the kinds of communication needed... Thank you, Samsung people!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, android 2.1.x
Cons: battery life is about 1 day
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most impossible phone ever

Have spent many hours just trying to get correct usb driver to install- have deemed impossible. Cannot get Kies to connect to phone. Cannot get pop3 mail to get messages. This is the most impossible phone to setup to connect to pc for sync that I have ever had and I have had a lot of them and am very computer literate. Getting sick of this phone in less than 2 weeks!!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, impossible to sync to pc
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only problem is the question "Where is the next update"???
Seems Sluggish but can be fixed with a new update, other then that i enjoy this phone.

Overall, a great device. Outside of slow GPS and issues easily synchronizing the device with my Windows (XP) system, does everything I want it to do. Plus, with 16GB internal memory and a 32 GB microSD, this device can store more media and software than any other convergent device on the market!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: difficult synchronization
