This phone is all that and a bag of chips. The only thing that I don't like is that I can't get my Flash updated. Hurry up so that I can enjoy the phone even more...

Just a lot better than the iPhone

Switched to the Captivate from the iPhone. The Captivate is so much better than the iphone in more ways than I could list here. I enjoy being able to add and remove files to the phone, and also the external SD card. The Live Wallpaper is an amazing idea. So many features that I like. I would recommend any iPhone user to switch to the Captivate for reasons we all know.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, external microsd card, transfer files to/from the phone, excellent quality, long battery life
Cons: none that i have noticed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

THis is AMAZING! upgraded from my old Blackjack2, and WOW! THis this ROCKS! Great vivid color display looks better than the wifes Apple 3Gs, music and photo storage is easy to use. Daily brief and GPS came in very handy on business trip. Need to offer RAM mount for cars - use GPS with integrated bluetooth! Only con is limited info on connecting to PC. Airplane mode helps save battery on trip too.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, gps
Cons: usb conx info

Screen is beautiful. Plenty of apps and options. Easy to use.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: cant figure out how to lock the device, manual does not have much on phone locking feature, and function.

I just recieved my new Samsung Captivate as an early Xmas present, and I am so tickled with it, I could just bust. Easy access to my emails on the go, connecting with local wi-fi so as not to drain data from my plan. Just an outstanding phone, my first new one in a long time. Like a kid with a new toy. Still trying to figure some of it out, but the adventure is worth it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

This is a great phone

This is my first smartphone. I was hesitant to get one thinking it would have more features than I would use. Now I am hooked. The transition from my prior phone to this one has been relatively smooth, and I am very pleased with this phone.

This phone is a MAJOR improvement over my old samsung impression the operation system is fast, sleek and pretty dang cool. I only have 2 problems with the product
1. Getting music from your computer is difficult because you cant use samsung pc studio
2. Updating android well theres no update software button where it just automatically does it
