I switched to netgear from Lynksis about 10 years ago and never looked back. I bought this to replace my Netgear AX6600 which is end of life, but will continue to use it for my mom.

Installation could have been easier...

This new router was replacing an older Nighthawk out of support. After a half hour struggling with the instructions that came with the new router I just gave up, powered on the new router, and voila! It configured itself to my old network and all my devices without issue in about 15 minutes, and has been working flawlessly 3 days since.
So Netgear, you need a Step 0 Open the Box instruction that asks if you are replacing a Netgear router, and if so just to this and skip Steps 1-3.

The Nighthawk app made the setup of this router so easy. I’m an older adult and I was nervous about the process of installing the router but the app made it seamless. Of course, I still had to connect my computer and printer to the new network/router but because the router setup was complete, those connections were simple. This is my second Netgear router and I recommend them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continuing great routers

I've been using nighthawk routers for quite some time. This router was blazing out of the box. Standard setup but works like a champ. Extremely responsive and using the nighthawk app makes it very simple to setup and maintain for both beginners and more advanced users.
