Big upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a spectrum wifi 6 router to the Netgear RS500 and could not be happier. We have must more consistent connection throughout our house with minimal drops in Mbps even at the furthest corners. We are not tech savvy, and we’re worried it would be a challenge to set up, but using the app was very easy, and turned out to be a simple set up. Very happy with the product so far.

Amazing Upgrade

It has been 5 years since I upgraded my home router setup. I did a lot of research and used the online router selection guide and landed with the RS500 Nighthawk router. It was easy to setup and establish my new home SSID and I enjoy the added security features and ease of use for guests when they visit. The WiFi range is excellent and I do not require the use of additional WAPs. The network uplink and downlink are near 90% of my provider’s published bandwidth. This is what I was looking to improve and with the new WiFi 7 chip, it has amazing connectivity for all of my wireless devices.

Easy Peasy install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation of my WiFi 7 is straightforward, and the App is perfect. Speed is excellent, covers the entire home, including the basement TVs. The only thing is that if you have some older TVs and computers, some may not accept, but we found a way to adjust based on different levels of acceptance. Overall, I strongly recommend.

Solid Router but could use some improvements

Fairly easy setup. Runs well but discovered an issue with buffering with streaming apps that didn’t occur with the old Nighthawk model it replaced. Was able to resolve it by disabling data monitoring per other owners prior experience. The extra services of the Armor really isn’t worth the money.
