Had to call for help

I'm a senior and admit to being a non-techie to the 10th degree so I was hesitant to order a replacement for my ot of date original WiFi. I tried for hours to get it working with much frustration. I called help number that came in box and was easily guided from start to full completion. Believe me if I can do it anymore can do it. The Netgear tech that helped me made it easy and was extremely patient in assisting me. Highly recommend.

Nice router

Installation was fairly easy although the issue I had is that some of the devices I was connecting to do not support WPA3. Range is great along with the speed.

The setup was fairly easy but it had parts that could have been better explained. Like whic of the lan connections to use. Also any benefit of one internet connection over the other I. e. The Ethernet vs the HDML.

Receive router with good communication o shipping. Setup was very easy. My only hang up is the coverage. They state up to 3000 sq ft coverage. My home is an 1100 sqft house with a basement. Router is on the first floor in the living room. When in the basement on the other end the reception is reduced to only 2 bars and is very slow at loading a page. I expected better signal with such a small house. It only has to go thru our main floor of which I expected a better signal. Outside of that it seems like a great router.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the RS300 because the router I had been using was no longer being supported by NETGEAR. After using it for a couple of weeks, I can say that the router appears to be a solid performer; however, no better than the old router. Based on its performance I would give it three stars because there was no improvement on performance. I gave it four stars because of the ease of installation and the discount offered. Otherwise, I could probably have purchased one of several less expensive routers (including NETGEAR models) locally. In summary I would say that it’s a does the job but has not improved the performance of my home network.

Could not have been happier with the product instructions and the app. Everything went in as instructed and the router is operating great. Didn't have to call for help, went in like 123. Great product and forethought.
