I it's been two weeks and I'm not sure it's worth the money. Everyday it goes down watching TV in the evening. It'a sporadic during the day when I'm on the internet. Overall, I'm not very happy with the router.

When experiencing an issue with connectivity we recommend a few troubleshooting steps including performing a full power cycle of your RS500 as well as connected modem while disconnecting the ethernet cable between them. After both devices have come back online, re-connect them, as well as confirm your RS500 is on the latest firmware v1.0.5.22 released as recently as 10-15-25: https://kb.netgear.com/000070295/.

Powerful, Fast, and Worth It

I upgraded to the NETGEAR Nighthawk BE12000 Wi-Fi 7 Router and the difference is amazing. The speed and range are incredible — it easily covers my whole home with multiple devices connected at once. Setup was super simple, and the connection stays rock solid for streaming, gaming, and work. Definitely worth it for anyone who wants fast and reliable Wi-Fi

We are very happy with our NETGEAR nighthawk. Our Wi-Fi is much improved and the app allows me to keep track of who is logged and notifies me when someone logs on.

Amazing Router! Super Fast and Easy to use!
