Fixed a lot of the lag issues. Upgraded my laptop to a 7 card afterwards and it is fast as hell.

Bought this to replace the Internet provider, routers that provided sub-par speed. Reviews were great for this company and model. And, as an extra bonus, it's an American company. We have not been disappointed. Unit was pretty easy to setup, and has been flawless for the couple weeks we've owned it so far. And, I'm getting speeds at or above the 1Gbps I'm paying for, from the provider. What a difference this router has made. Definitely would highly recommend.

Worthy upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased to get a wider range of coverage and faster speeds, I can now go anywhere in my house and even outside and have internet coverage as well my download speeds went from 40-50 to 150 and on my faster systems and phones I am getting 800MBs out of 1000MB on WiFi

I have the RS500 router. This is my third NETGEAR router. They have all worked as advertised. I had to upgrade when I changed my internet speed.

Great speed increase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ISP’s modem only has one 2.5 ghz port at wifi 6 so I’ve used this to increase the throughput and it’s pretty much doubled for all of my devices, probably even overkill. Very consistent and great user control, the only downside is that the Nighthawk Security is subscription based.
