I bought this RS500 to replace a seven-year-old Nighthawk R7000. Even with extenders, I was having occasional drop-outs while streaming (three TVs, three floors). After setting up the new RS500 (same Arris Surfboard Modem), the improvement has been dramatic, with instant response and NO drop-outs. I am very pleased!

much better than the new tp-link archer model

In December, I bought the TP-Link model - Archer BE19000. To my surprise, the functions in my case were very slow, both upload and download speed. causing double NAT, and slowness. With the Netgear model, the configuration was very simple, fast and the speeds are excellent, I have no problem with double NAT, 4k movies on 5 different devices without image delay problems, I am very happy with its design, and excellent functionality, previously I used a nigthhwank x10. But out of nowhere the 2.4 and 5g antennas stopped working. Comparing its performance to the current one, there are differences. I highly recommend this new model, you will see many differences and many improvements. Greetings

Steady Speed and Beautiful Router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wireless router provides as described features that fill our 2,500 sq ft space with reliable wired and wireless network connectivity for all our devices. The separate guest setup can be tricky, software app fails to provide good settings support. The built-in web page administration tool does a good job. It works very well with another to form a mesh coverage of a larger area. The built-in security software, Amor, is a Bitdefender version. It provides excellent security features. This router works very well for high volume needs of a home or small office.
