Bought these a month ago, and absolutely love them. In my honest opinion these are better than AirPods! They make them look mediocre. Will 1000% buy again!
The Vibe Beam 2 are a big improvement over the Vibe Beam. They have a better ambient mode, better call quality and the ANC is better then the JBL Tune Buds. The ANC isn't high end but it does a decent job of muffling out most sounds. The app features are vastly improved over the Vibe Beam particularly the Equalizer which is absolutely needed to get the most out of these earbuds since out of the box they sound flat. However unlike the Vibe Beam the Vibe Beam 2 respond better the bass adjustments. The amount of bass is about he same as what we got with the Original Vibe 200 earbuds.
JBL finally addressed the way the Vibe earbuds fit into your ears with the design being less bulky and much more comfortable and able to stay in place. The charging case is similar to the Vibe Beam design wise which is something I thought was fine since the case works fine.
So overall JBL addressed all the issues the Vibe Beam had and really improved them with the Vibe Beam 2 while adding more features like multi point and longer battery life.
This was a waste of money and they feel cheap. I purchased these earbuds 02 May 2025 and I have regretted it daily. The controls do not work well, they are incredibly uncomfortable, and if you remove an earbud it does not automatically pause. If you remove one while it is paused, it will resume playing.

I bought these earbuds with high hopes. I can't get them to stay in my ears for the life of me. Even sitting perfectly still they pop out, so I can't even attempt to use them at the gym. Because they dont fit regardless of what silicone piece is used, the sound quality suffers.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. For further assistance, please contact our customer support. https://support.jbl.com/us/en
Sound quality is good. Mic with only one earbud in is below average. Earbuds fall out even after changing tip size. Wouldn't purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I picked up the JBL Vibe Beam 2 earbuds last week after my old pair finally died on me, and I've gotta say, I'm pretty impressed so far! The sound quality is definitely a step up from my previous buds. That JBL bass really comes through nicely without overwhelming everything else. Been listening to my workout playlist and you can feel those low notes hit just right. The overall sound is clear and punchy - not audiophile level obviously, but great for everyday listening. The active noise cancelling is actually better than I expected at this price point. It doesn't completely block out everything like my friend's premium buds, but it does a solid job on my commute blocking out most of the train noise. The Smart Ambient feature is super useful too - I can quickly tap to hear announcements or chat with someone without taking the earbuds out. Speaking of taps - the touch controls on these are surprisingly good! Each earbud responds really well to taps without me having to aggressively poke at my ears like with my last pair. Left for volume down, right for up, double tap to pause/play, etc. The functionality is great and I haven't had many accidental triggers even during workouts. Battery life has been impressive - I've been using them for about 3-4 hours a day and only charged the case once in the past week. The quick charge feature saved me once already when I realized they were low before heading to the gym - 10 minutes of charging gave me enough juice for my workout. The fit is comfortable enough for extended wear. I swapped to the medium-sized tips and they stay put during runs without causing ear fatigue. Got caught in a light rain yesterday and they kept working fine, so the water resistance checks out. The multi-point connection is a game-changer for me since I switch between my phone and laptop all day. No more disconnecting and reconnecting constantly! Only minor complaints: the case is a bit bulkier than I'd like in my pocket, and the voice prompts are helpful but occasionally startle me with their volume.
