Does Not Nest

Love the pans but the 3qt doesn't nest ino the 4qt, which is really really annoying. It just takes up more storage space than necessary. They could've made the 3 qt narrower or the 4qt wider. Why would someone design a set of pots this way? Obviously someone who doesn't work in a home kitchen. Yes, I should've checked the dimensions but I got the 4 qt first and was so happy with it that I just bought the 3qt. Dumb move on my part. I give it 5 stars for the pans themselves and 1 star for the stupid design. Why?
