This saucepan heats up quickly and evenly thanks to the stainless steel three ply with a thick aluminum core. I use this pot for sauces so the dripless pouring rim is a plus when transferring into by serving dish. Spirit cookware has stay cool handles (the handle has a V where it attaches to the pot so the heat disperses before flowing up the handle) and the glass lid helps me keep an eye out for boiling or simmering without lifting to let out the heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a saucepan exactly like this for years. I get overwhelmed by too many choices, none of which are what I want. Since I purchased on the Zwilling website, the very helpful chat feature was able to answer all my questions - something that I have not found on other company websites. Very heavy, solid pan, beautiful glass lid allows me to see what's happening when I cook rice, so easy to clean! I love this product & will be back on the website soon to buy other new pans.

We bought this size because the 3 qt. was just too big for everyday use for the two of us.
The quality of this line is excellent. Cleans very easily with a brief soaking, and a little baking soda for stubborn residue. Love the pour lip and glass lids. The metal handle can be hot with longer cooking times, but usually are just warm.

I use this size most of the time for my cooking. I love the weight of it and the fact I can see everything with the cover on. Also, the handles never get hot

This is a great stainless steel saucepan. I use this a lot for soups, sauces, or even to use for a stove top potpourri. The tri-ply construction of this saucepan is really well made, it’s not going to be prone to warping or having cold spots in the pot. It heats up really well and retains the heat well. I like that the handle is stay cool on the saucepan and that I can use it as a spoon rest. It also contours nicely in my hand. A great saucepan!

Great everyday sauce pan. I find myself pulling it out often. Heats up quickly. Nice to see what's going on inside, thanks to the glass lid. Easier to clean than I had expected.
