So far so good. It's not as easy to set up as advertised. And for those that can take advantage of the new Wi-Fi 7 Speed good luck. I chose this offer for future proofing my Wi-fi system. So, when 10 gig speed become a norm, I'll be set up and ready.

I love Orbi. Expensive, but worth it. User-friendly app. Although I am disappointed my last Orbi was 4 years old when I received the mail that it would no longer be supported with firmware updates. But I am realizing that is now industry standard with many devices.

Use ChatGPT to help you set up the Orbi 770. It will walk you through everything you need to know and also help you adjust settings in your internet modem to maximize effectiveness of the Orbi. It will also show you how to check the settings in the Netgear web site. The Orbi is running great and I get max mps that I pay for from my internet service

WiFi coverage is accurate.
Issue: 3 computers hardwired to the LAN ports via cat 6 RG45 cable. Internet speed test is 64-75Mbps (on each port) suppose to be up to 700+Mbps.
Router firmware upgrade-the same result.
PC nic firmware upgrade-the same result, etc...
Conclusion: if your are planning to use it a hardwire colution, please pick a different router.

Puts TP Link Deco to shame. Phenomenal configurability in comparison, a real web interface, and a lot less latency. Armor is pretty neat - I like the automatic blocking of IPs that are considered a threat. My first experience with Orbi was sub-par, but everything is refined now. A way to have a mesh network without sacrificing control of your LAN.
