Switched ISP modem router to the Orbi and could not be happier. I went from getting 700 mbps over WiFi to 1100-1400 mbps. I have 2gig internet and can pull close to that on hard wired devices but WiFi has never been close until now.

NETGEAR Orbi 770, set up requires patience

I purchased a Nighthawk modem and Orbi 770 to insure compatibility, to acquire fast speeds and 'future proof' for new Apple iPhone and MBP. Plenty of "wonky" online discussions about NG products--will leave it to others to disassemble. In my experience, insuring compatibility with my Apple products was as important as gaining speed. It took two tries to get the system up and running. Range in-house is great, but I will require a range extender for my garage. This unit replaced a Google Mesh wifi system that was still operable. NG app is not intuitive, continually prompts me to purchase plans for Parental Controls (which I do not need--there is no way to opt out of these annoying messages!).

I had an old ORBI RBR50 that was several years old. I was noticing very slight buffering on my TV, and I had added several updated devices lately which lead me to decide to upgrade to a newer version (ORBI RBE772) just to ensure continued best coverage for my home. The buffering (and other minor issues) has ceased! I am getting great coverage throughout my entire property! Very happy with this upgrade. Also, got a great price, too! Highly recommend for great whole house mesh wifi!

I recently replaced my Orbi R350 Series with the Orbi 770 Series. Major upgrade with bonis coverage! The installation could not have been easier, it has increased speed and I no longer have any spooling issues. I have over 30 devices on my network and at times usage can be pretty intense. The Orbi 770 Series handles it well so far.
