Orbi WiFi great; ethernet is slower than it should be.

The Orbi 771 was very east to set up and get running. But the ethernet connection to my PC has turned out to be slower than what I had with my 10-year-old Netgear R8000. I have a case opened with Netgear, and they have offered several things to try. To date (I've had the unit most of a month, now), I'm getting only about 80% or so of the ethernet connection speed I had on the venerable R8000. I was getting a full 940 Mbps on my 1 Gb plan from my ISP. Now, I get speeds in the upper 700s or very low 800s. The WiFi is great with one satellite for the upstairs (something the R8000 struggled with). Overall, the connection (ethernet and WiFi) is solid and always there. Now, if the Netgear people can get my ethernet speed back up to where it is when I connect my PC only to the modem, I'll be happy to give the system 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When experiencing an issue with slow speed while connected via ethernet we recommend a few troubleshooting steps including checking your ethernet cable is Cat 5e or Cat 6 at minimum and in good condition, check for any other cables to ensure they are securely connected and in good condition as well as ensuring both your RBE772 Router and Satellite are on the most recent firmware v10.5.20.10: https://kb.netgear.com/000070524/.
