I have this for my pellet stove and it has already proved itself a worthwhile product. The power where I live is tenuous at best and goes out frequently. It seems to be a generally accepted notion that the mother board in pellet stoves are less than robust. The manual goes so far as to state that if the fuse is blown, so is the board. I do not quite understand that, but this has already saved me from finding out, and spending $200.00 plus, on a new board.

Installed the Isobar 2 outlet surge protector for my home computer & router. Very solid built product made from an extruded aluminum housing with a matte black finish. Plugs directly into the wall so it saves space and can be hidden easily behind my desk area. LED indicators display if the wiring is correct in the home and protection is available for components connected to the surge protector. I installed these due to a homeowners policy change... now my homeowners insurance will not cover any damaged electronics unless they are connected to a surge suppression device. If the surge suppression device is connected to the electronic equipment, and it is damaged, they then will cover it.

Although this has sort of an industrial look I like it! It allows you to utilize both plugs on a single gang box or all four plugs on a double gang box. And you get an extra outlet to boot. I now feel comfortable plugging my computer and stereo gear into the wall and not worrying about frying them every time there's a thunder storm. I have a whole house surge protector as well so this is insurance that pays off for once. Love them and will probably get one or two more as time goes by.

I am using this Isobar 2-outlet Surge Protector to protect the Fleck controller on my water softener. I like that you can see the status of the power with the LED's on the top of the surge protector. I also like that this surge protector is made of metal and not plastic. It is well built and comes with a equipment protection warranty. This is a very good value for the money. I would like to see an Isobar 3 or 4 outlet surge protector. I would give this a 5 out of 5 stars. I can't find anything wrong with this device at this time.
