[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Dremel for knife mods. Using the flex shaft attachment makes this a piece of cake. I can work for hours with little fatigue thanks to the slim design and maneuverability of this gem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried the flexshaft made by foredome which is what most jewelers tend to use when they've got the kind of money to spend on it, i guess. But by no means would I upgrade. Dremel's version is perfect for my needs. I have small hands and use my flexshaft for everything when it comes to cutting, grinding, sanding, and polishing my jewelry. I use it for erasing tool marks and nicks as well as polishing my gemstones. For the price, I can still produce high end jewelry and accessories and no one would be able tk tell the difference. As long as you figure out the right bits that every job calls for, you'll end up with a perfectly smooth polished project everytime
