[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need this to do small tight carving. The problem that I come across is wobble at the business end. I’m forced to go smaller and grind vs. carving. Also if any rust occurs the push button vs. other means is inadequate to break and loosen the freeze.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of detail carving and polishing. I find the smaller shaft grip much easier to work with than the tool itself. It is surprisingly flexible. Once you try one, you won’t want to go back…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my flex shaft for a while now and am so happy with my decision to go this route. I run it with my 3000 for many different crafts. I have arthritis, so the flex saves me a lot of unnecessary pain. Two things: 1. I wish it came bundled with a guard that fit. 2. I wish it came bundled with the proper lubricant. Ready to get the pro series for wood carving. I understand the foot pedal is the way to go when working with wood and antler.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old original flex shaft from 20 years ago that I still use. This one is way better especially since you added the lock button!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a dremel set up with flexshaft on it full time in my shop. As a wood carver I find this tool indispensable its my go to daily. Tool is great for getting into tight areas and it has a lot of power for really digging in if needed.
