I'm 67 and love the old TV shows I'm totally impressed I like not having a cable bill every month. I'm on a fixed income and still enjoying what I like. I've told my friends about it and how easy-to-use I can't tell you how happy I was to find out about ruko

Half the time it needs to be unplugged

Bought one for my non smart tv.easy to hook up.We now have 3 roku tv sets.the other two had roku built in.our other tv is an android the roku give more apps and options..the second roku express gave to my sister in law for christmas.I set it up for her.she had been without tv for months since she could not afford dish anymore.she flips over it.made her happy.we are very pleased with this device.

I recomend it,I been using Roku since 2013 I have made updates before and this is the best update because you can control the volumem of the tv and the of and on.

problem and no way to contact customer service

I bought the express 4K+ and set it up on my non smart tv without a problem. Turned it on the next day and all I got was no signal with no Roku screen at all. Unable to find anything in the blog or support page about this issue. connected to another tv with same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your player is having trouble communicating to your TV, and we're here to help!

Try to unplug all cords and re-plug everything back into place. Be sure that you're pressing firmly to secure each fastener.

Once this is complete, check to see if your Roku powers on. To do so, press the power button on your remote to wake the TV and then the home button to wake the Roku. You'll want to look for a red or white light on the front of your Roku player.

If the light turns on, that means everything is securely fastened. The Roku should automatically connect to your HDMI source and appear on your screen. But if you TV still says, "no signal", try some of the resolutions within this Community article: https://community.roku.com/t5/Playback-Issues-Audio-Video-Power/HDMI-port-my-Roku-is-connected-to-has-no-signal/td-p/530307.

If there is no light on the front of your player, that means that your Roku is not turning on. You'll want to visit this FAQ article for more troubleshooting assistance: https://support.roku.com/article/219327988.

Pressing OK button made the unplug issue go away

Almost returned this Express 4K+ it because I had to unplug and then replug power to get it to come on an older Sharp TV. I tested it on another TV and it worked fine. It's back on the Sharp and found that all I have to do is press the OK (enter) button and it comes right on. Also bought a Steaming Stick 4K and a Streaming Stick + for other TV's and they are great. Really like that Roku Channel.
