Got one of these Roku Express 4K+ just 5 months ago and today went to change out the older HDMI cable for a new one and the HDMI port inside broke clean off and I can hear it rattle around inside if I shake it..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product loses internet connection after hours of use and the remote stops responding. Only solution is to unplug it and star over. After contacting the support and trying everything they suggested, I was sent a new unit but the new one also have the same issue. I have multiple Roku units which work fine on the same TV and network. When it is working, it is a good product but have to reset it multiple times a day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love Roku, easy setup and usage, well priced

I own many models of roku. Compared to other streamers I enjoy Roku the most. As i mention in the headline its easy to setup and to use, and simple for my 90yo parents to learn use and enjoy. Amazon streamer is highly glitchy and very slow, but not Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Roku I’ve ever owned

My two Roku 3810s (the previous Streaming Stick Plus model to this new one) both worked great for years. When one of them died the other day, I bought this one. What an utter piece of junk! Constantly drops wifi even though everything is in the same place it’s always been, constant a/v errors (older TV, so I’m hoping that setting it to 1080p solves this), jumps all over the place when trying to rewind or forward on YouTube TV, and when I turn it on it sometimes shows my screensaver like my 3810 did, and sometimes just sits on a black screen until I hit the home button. Don’t even try to talk to customer service, because they are completely clueless. Time to try some other brands. Super disappointing, because I’ve been using Roku devices since version 2.

TV on but not Roku

One person here said they turned on their TV but there was no Roku. My dad's TV did that and we just pressed the home key and the menu came up.

HORRIBLE REMOTE CONTROL!

We purchased three Roku systems for our TVs. All of us are having remote control issues. The remote control stops working. We cannot change the channels, adjust the volume, or turn the TV off; all three remotes drain the batteries so quickly. We are not happy.

The Best Thing I ever Bought

I am ready to cut the cord with the cable company...after buying my first Roku and found out what I was missing with the cable company I now purchased 3 more Roku devices one for every TV in my house and one for son at college...all I can saw is I haven't watched this much TV in years...i am getting channels for free that I would have had to pay for if I wanted them with the cable company...if you are thinking about it...take my word for someone who has bought 4 devices in like a month...don't wait just do it

You must restart the system to watch

This product is useless. I have to restart the system just to watch TV. I need to restart it when I start it. When I change to another show on the same channel, and when moving from channel to channel. It worked fine for one year.
