Samsung Smart TV problem

I have to give it a big failure. This is the second Roku I have use with my Samsung Smart TV and both were not recognized by the TV within 2 weeks of connecting. I have had no luck in getting any tech help woth this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unit seemed to work fine for awhile and then just after warranty expired I started getting messages saying unplug usb cable from tv and use 110V power adapter. I did and continued having issues. Contacted support who told me I was out of warranty and they wouldn’t help. Too bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Joe. Help is here! As a quick fix, we recommend using an adapter with a power output of 5 Volts and 1 Amp (1000 mA) or a regular phone charger adaptor and plugging it into a wall outlet. Connecting to a wall outlet ensures that your Roku streaming player doesn’t need to power up each time you turn on your TV. Easily converts TV to Roku

Purchased so I could view premium channels on standard TV. Installation was very easy, just need Wifi connection and Roku is up and running.

We have a remote cabin and bought Roku to watch TV with the new internet service and it helped the family when it was to cold to go out. So we got home and got a Roku for the kid’s bedroom. They love it.

Great Connection and picture

We have used Apple TV only for years. I only had a Roku in my guestroom. Recently, I realize that the Roku never has to be rebooted like Apple TV, which is constant. So far we’ve been using it for several weeks and I like it so much better. The picture quality is great, the remote is easier to use, and I’ve not once had to reboot.
