I bought this unit for my AirBnB. With an HDMI cable I have a great picture monitor and with an optical cable, sound runs perfectly to an external bar. It's so easy to use and my guests can choose their own apps and utilize their own passwords to access their own media. It's perfect!

Remote is not working properly

This is my fourth Roku unit, this one works as expected however the remote keeps running my sound bar up to max volume when trying to lower volume, which is irritating to say the least. I have stopped using the Roku remote for volume and using the TV remote instead. Otherwise, great picture (4K), and easy to use.

If you haven't used a particular HDMI port on the TV before, try a different one to see if that resolves the issue. Ensure the TV is set to the correct input source for your HDMI port.
