I had an older Roku that would not connect with the remote, possibly due to the WiFi router. When I upgraded my WiFi router, I decided to upgrade my Roku devices. Since this version has a remote receiver that is plugged into electricity., and can be positioned for easy access, it's working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t seem to work well

Despite a good signal, this Roku does not work without using the TV remote to get the HDMI connection into which the Roku is inserted to work. Once the proper connection is recognized, it works. Very inconvenient. Even thought about returning it.

Bought my 4th Roku for my new TV. Great picture quality and easy access to my favorite apps. I also use Roku on 2 TVs in my RV. Great product

Roku Really ROCKS

Roku setup was fast although loading my subscription apps took a little while. My bedroom Samsung TV is non-smart so Roku was the perfect choice. We love it even though I sometimes mute it when holding the remote as the mute button is on the side just slightly above the middle. Still, it’s 5 stars.
