I bought this device to replace my older device, which I had more than 5 years. Frankly the older device was better. This stick does not retain my TV settings and every time I turn the TV on I have to go thru multiple steps before I can start watching any programs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In that case, we recommend trying a different HDMI port or doing the setup portion on a different TV to isolate the issue. Additionally, the device can be plugged into your TV's USB port for power or a wall outlet. If you currently use the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead. I bought this to eliminate the abundant commercials, and that it did well. since we watch TV in a darkened atmosphere it needs illuminated keys. Recommend it with reservations.

I bought so I could connect my Roku surround speakers.. The only thing or will context work is a remote. Dumb...

Roku device is easy to setup in only minutes.
So glad I have this Roku device installed on our main TV, because when our streaming device from our TV and internet provider stopped working, I was able to switch over to our Roku device and continue watching TV, and the same program.

Cannot figure it out. Wanted it expressly for Bally Sports as Dish doesn't carry it.

To access it, you have several options: you can purchase a ticket, subscribe directly to Bally Sports+, or sign in with your TV provider credentials. If you already have a subscription, you can access their application by adding their app to your Roku TV/device.
