What a tool

We purchased our second Roku last month. Husband never used first one, but with the voice activated feature, he loves it too. Cannot imagine a home without one!

Great features but a couple of problems

I love all the channels I can get all the different movies but from time to time it will go black you can’t see anything you have to unplug it from the outlet to get the picture back. I also have Google TV to make sure I check the Google TV and it was fine. It was Roku that did this, I don’t know why other than that I love it

Problems with remote?

Overall, I really like Roku but I have experienced on more than one occasion and on more than one identical device where my remote stops responding. It has happened in different apps so I don't think it's an app issue. I'll be watching a show and want to pause, fast forward or rewind and nothing happens. The home button and power button will work but nothing else. Sometimes, pulling out and reinstalling the remote batteries works. Other times, I just exit the app and start over. It happens randomly. It can be fine at one commercial and be locked up at the next. Very inconvenient. If it weren't for that, Roku would be perfect.

Great functionality

I love the product, and would give it 5 stars if the volume and mute were located differently. I grab the remote to perform some function, and my fingers always seem to find the volume or mute button. Sometimes it causes the TV to bring up some menu item that makes me have use the TV remote to clear it. Great otherwise.
