I cut cable and use a roku for years now! there is so much content on there I am never bored when I want to watch tv or movie- they have tons of options.
this specific item is awesome! pairs with tv, so I can on/off or change volumn
and it does voice commands! the picture is super clear. and the device is fast/very responsive! LOVE ROKU and always tell others to try it!

We had the stick for a couple of years but it kept over heating. A warning would post on the upper right of the TV. So, this one has a cable with the device on the table and is not subject to the heat of the TV. Performance is basically flawless.
