I had no problems installing th product but became increasingly frustrated with trying to make somem streaming services work. I wouldl rather have a smart TV and use my streaming servieces that way. I ended up just plugging the cable back in. think I will buy another smart TV. If you are good at doing this things, no problem, if not better find some good help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cut the cord after forever and Roku provided a soft landing. Works fine with Samsung tv. Bought another for the kitchen tv

I wish it was easier to power on and off and should have a feature to disconnect from WiFi without having to unplug the device

We've had it for about a month and are using it regularly. User interface makes it easy to get started and to add different streaming applications. Still working on understanding all of the functions available.
