Overall this router is a standout for its two 10Gb ports plus a 2.5Gb WAN port, which is something that makes having a gaming computer, SAN and a 1.4Gb internet connection worthwhile! Love all the features, including speedtest built right in to help troubleshoot performance issues with connected devices. My only issues so far have been with trying to connect to an AX11000 as a repeater or AiMesh, it doesn't seem to want to stay connected but I'm hoping a patch will correct that. Overall though it's a fantastic router packed with great features and the performance (wired an wireless) is unmatched.

We’re easy to setup. The WAN connection immediately sped up my connection to the router. The 10GHhz connection to my 10Ghz switch is fantastic. The Quad-Band internet is very nice. Extremely easy to setup. iPhone router app took 20 minutes to recognize the new router, but after that is was very smooth.

A Near perfect router. I love the dual 10gig LAN ports, but what could make it better is every LAN port be 2.5gig. The wifi rang appears excellent. I do have one oddity with AI-mesh with my old Asus RT-AX92U its only connecting via 2.5ghz for back-haul. It is unclear why. All this power an performance comes at some prices. First its price tag this is a very expensive router. Second It draws 18watts of power. My AX92U draws less than 10watts. This is also a large router takes up a lot of space. The RGB is also a mirror like finish rather than the black it looks in pictures. The GT-AXE16000 really is a great router but at its price I feel I can nit pick on it. If you need the dual 10gig ports this is probably the only router on the market that will suit your needs.

I purchased this router since I move a high quantity of large files to and from my NAS. I don't really game. In a single outing I could have as many as 10,000 photos and 256GB worth of files to transfer. I also wanted better wi-fi coverage and performance than my current ISP modem was giving me. I recently purchased a 10GB Synology network card for my NAS so I could utilize the high-speed networking that that 10GB port provides. The only gripe I have is that your PC or laptop must be plugged into the secondary 10GB port so that you can see your NAS properly and connect to its web page otherwise it's totally segmented. I wished it had a few more ports which comes in handy if you to do port binding to increase the 1GB LAN speed to 2GB without needing an extra external switch. Overall, it's doing what I had hoped it's increased my wireless performance for my security cameras & it's not timing out like it did before. It has its own separate firewall. Even though it's kind of big I highly recommend it especially for people with NAS storage or for gaming.
