The largest and most expensive, but WHAT A ROUTER!

So, certainly the largest and most expensive router I've every owned! However, it is also the most able in any metric when compared to other lines of routers out there.
The provision made for cpu agility (very FAST), RAM, WIFI radios, and multiple ports to connect it all together make it the winner it is! My network is singing along at speeds that approach the limits of the ports on my leading edge computers, and wifi speeds lag only a minor amount behind wired...that is amazing!
Finally, one last observation. ASUS previous flagship routers (3200 & 5300) all ran VERY hot. So much so that those required an added usb fan to stay cool and last long. This one really handles the heat generated by all the described performance. It stay well below 80 degrees, but with the fan I had on hand, it runs in the 40-50 max temp range!! Astounding!

I've invested in many ASUS routers within the past 10 years and the ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 is by far the best of the best. Never have I had this much coverage and stability throughout my home. We have a total of 25 devices connected wirelessly at one time and all have a strong stable connection. Even my kids have commented on how much better and faster the internet has been since installing the new router. This is by far the best router ASUS has made to date and I highly recommend it.

Rocket GT-AXE-16000 with No Afterburners Needed

My experience this far is five stars based on the install, connectivity, and speeds. I have eight connections at this time. My ISP speed is k325 mbs and all my user clients have clocked at 300 mbs from the Wi-Fi channels including my 8k which I opened the 8k formats on Youtube and experienced my first 8k resolutions, which are amazing. My only complaints right now are all fuzzy as range which I have limited heights and some router setup issues I changes to contact the service department about. I also like the router's exterior ROG light effects, as this router truly rocks with features at this time.

Multiple iPads, iphones, TVs, security cameras, ring doorbell & chimes, & Wi-Fi garage door openers work flawlessly with the AXE 16000. With so many internet connected devices, the AXE 16000 is the right choice even for those of us who do not play computer games.
