Needed a backup AC and Heat unit for loft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a backup heat and AC unit for our loft, Which constantly is the exact opposite of the rest of the house Because of the high ceilings. This unit has worked perfectly! Kept the room very cold and with the minimal heat Kept it warm when needed. Would love to have another one for the other side of the loft. Makes very little noise and puts out a lot of cold.We ducted it to the outside through HVAC flex Duct and drained it to the sofit and it all works really good. We are very happy with this unit and would definitely buy again. We highly recommend this.

Best option, could use some simple features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had three older Frigidaire portable AC units that lasted us a long time before they all went out around the same time. Unfortunately, they were out of warranty, and I couldn’t find anyone to service them. I tried switching to three Black + Decker portable AC units, but each one had issues and had to be returned. That experience pushed me back to Frigidaire—and I’m glad it did.
We’re very happy with our new unit. It cools the rooms quickly and has handled the recent heat waves extremely well. The unit is powerful, quiet, and overall performs far better than the alternatives we tried.
That said, there are a couple of features I wish Frigidaire would add:
Auto Temperature Control – The unit offers cool, dry, fan, and heat modes, but there’s no auto mode to maintain a set temperature. For example, if I set it at 72°, I’d expect it to switch between heating, cooling, or just running the fan as needed. Instead, I have to manually toggle between settings, which isn’t practical—especially overnight. Our older Frigidaire units had this feature, so I don’t understand why it’s missing here.
Beep Control – Every adjustment on the unit triggers loud beeps, even when made through the mobile app. This is disruptive, especially at night when I don’t want to wake the kids. A simple “sound off” option in the app would solve this.
The mobile app itself is a nice addition, but I’ve noticed that tasks I’ve created don’t actually run, which makes that feature feel incomplete.
Overall, this is a great product with excellent cooling power, quiet operation, and reliability we trust. With a few small improvements, it could be perfect. I’d still recommend Frigidaire portable AC units to anyone shopping around.

3 in 1 One AC
