So many options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable air conditioner has been a lifesaver in the summer heat of Georgia. We keep it in our bedroom and the sound of the motor is so quiet it’s barely noticeable. We love that it also acts as an air purifier or basic fan. In the winter we will get to test out the heat function. We love the remote control and the wheels that make it easy to move around as needed. Would definitely recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good

I don't like to write reviews after using something for a week, but am willing to give first impressions. The install can be tricky if your window is non-standard (mine is an RV with curved edges so it was very fiddly and required much custom cutting). I was hoping this unit would be quieter than the built in A/C, and it is, but not by much. The cooling is fairly effective for a long narrow space but I do have to move it around to make the cooling more evenly distributed. I realize these are not designed for RV's, but it may be worth doing this review if others in my situation are thinking of trying one of these. I got this because it also does heat and I'm hoping it will provide enough heat in the fall to avoid my using the very noisy furnace or very high electric charges for a space heater.
In general, I like it, but it is quite noisy in a small space and must be pointed directly at any space more than a couple of feet from the unit. I might still go to a mini-split ducted system but will use this for a longer time before deciding on that.

With a capacity of **14,000 BTU (ASHRAE) / 10,000 BTU (DOE)**, it delivers enough cooling power and keeps my space refreshingly cool—even during Georgia’s muggy summer afternoons. The supplemental heat feature will be a bonus for winter making this a true all-season solution.
Setup was a breeze, and the Frigidaire app makes remote control effortless. I love being able to schedule temperature changes and manage humidity levels from my phone. It’s also compatible with Alexa and Google Home (I haven’t tried the feature yet though) which adds a layer of convenience as one could control this with a simple voice command.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very large studio apartment (975 sq ft) and even though the ASHRAE says it’ll cover up to 700 sq ft and the DOE up to 450 sq ft, it’s been doing a great job keeping my space cool in the hot and humid Midwest. I use a tower fan near it to help disperse the cool air.
