Quiet and Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bedroom is in the finished attic of my house. I think when they put the drywall up, they never insulated, because it gets extremely hot in the spring, summer, and fall. Even with central air, I need something powerful to supplement the AC or the room will be unbearable. This is where my Frigidaire portable comes in. I've had a portable unit from a big brand before, and the Frigidaire blows it out of the water by every metric. First, it is very quiet for a portable. One thing you need to understand when buying a portable is that the compressor is in the room with you, instead of hanging outside like a window unit. This usually means the noise can drown out the audio on your TV. This is not the case with the Frigidaire. It's at least as quiet as any high-end window unit I've had before. Another awesome feature is the smart control. I can turn it on and off with Alexa, or I can use the app when I'm getting ready to leave work, and it will have the room cooled by the time I get home. The most important characteristic is the cooling ability. The Frigidaire really shines here. Not only does it get cold, but it blows hard and throws cold air across my entire space. If you are contemplating getting a Frigidaire portable AC for your space, I highly recommend it.

Very quiet and cools the entire room fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a two-story condo where our bedroom is on the second floor and it gets very, very hot during the day and night .We had an older ac unit for our bedroom but it was very loud and would wake us up clunking when turning off and on. When setting this new AC up, we were very shocked at how quiet it was. It was a fairly easy set up the only feature that we seem to have trouble with is connecting it to our Alexa device for some reason when setting up the skill in Alexa app we are not able to detect the device even when the Wi-Fi set up shows it was successful. A little bit annoying since we have many devices in our home that can be controlled all from Alexa. I installed the Frigidaire app and I am able to control the unit from that as a workaround. All in all very impressed with the quality and it keeps us feeling cold all night!

The Best Portable AC unit I've owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is the best portable ac unit I've ever owned. The installation and set up was extremely easy. The unit came with all components needed to run the exhaust hose out the window. The unit heats and cools extremely well, the fan is very powerful and pushes it across our whole room. The ability to have it on wifi and control the temperature from my phone is extremely convenient. The unit is quiter than most I have owned, which is great when running at night. The wheels make it extremely easy to move around, which helps tremendously as the unit is somewhat heavy.

The design is very sleek and blends in well with decor. The cooling is effective and controllable. I really like that it is quiet and the fan is still powerful. Overall it is a great unit and is very user friendly.

Setup was easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We set this up in just a few minutes. The instructions are straightforward. The app was easy to navigate and follow. It connected to WiFi without a hassle. The unit itself it pretty heavy (over 50#) but has wheels so it can be moved around with ease. The design is sleek and quite compact to fit and maneuver. We are having 80 plus degree weather and it is keep up just fine. It has a very neutral design and the control panel is flat.

So easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water reservoir indicator doesn't alert me when is full, also the timer in the app, doesn't work. Besides that the unit works good, I don't know how the heater works, I will see in winter.
