I love the lights. They are easy to string and the sticky backs work great. No need for screws. They are bright and the app is easy to use as well. I also like how you can splice the lights to match the lengths you require. I can;t wait to get more!!

Not ready for prime time. Things to know before you buy.

Doesn't really state anywhere but instead of like the Govee Pro's where lights string along one power line one after the other. These Dots lights have a bigger power adapter that splits out to two lines where you are told you have to use the same number of lights on each power strand. So, they work well if your power is in the middle of where you want to put lights and you branch out a line to the right and one to the left. Getting these on your 2nd level of house is going to be very hard to install. Other note is if you have the Govee Pros installed and want to match themes there currently are any that match and the few that do name wise aren't the same color wise so you can't match with your other lights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
