The husband was getting up on a ladder 4x a year to install or change out bulbs for the holidays. A friend mentioned these lights and we looked into it. They were simple to install and easy to change the color when needed. Now if only they sold just the plug and transformer part because we had quite a bit left over in one section. Someday?

Outperforms every other product on the market

These lights look Fantastic once installed around windows or doors..If you know anything about splicing wires.. You can make these fit around all your windows.. your home will be the most unique on you street. These lights are bright, they are well built. They easily outshine the permanentl iights 2. As another user said... they aren't like traditional Christmas lights on one long strand... Govee carefully thought out the best way to make these lights fit the majority of applications. So there are 2 circuits.. each with 3 15 ft sections . Youll use the supplied extension wires BETWEEN. Youll want to choose a central location to plug in and then take one of the 2 circuits left, and the other right. I do wish they had a 150 ft option split into 2 75 ft. Circuits, but the power adapter would have to be 50% bigger and its already peetty big at 36 vdc. I installed These lights on my home and at my church.. These lights are exponentially better than any of the under the eave lights as I have both. These lights steal the show hands down. THANKS Govee.. what an intuitive company. GREAT JOB

Began to fail within two months

Bought these in August to prepare for the holiday season. When new, they look beautiful and are very easy to program and customize. Unfortunately, they are beginning to fail after less than 2 months of use. Multiple segments are experiencing failures of individual red diodes and one segment lost communication from the controller entirely. I recently reached out to Govee to see what they can offer for replacement options, but the amount of labor I have already put into these lights only to require removal and reinstallation is insane! I have multiple Govee products that I have been very happy with in the past, but these lights are a major disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These lights are beautiful. I've only had them a few weeks but have already received compliments from neighbors. My HOA was specific that I can't have the lights facing front so the majority of them are under my eaves like you would install the permanent lights and they still look amazing and bright. I'm sure it would look even better/brighter if I had them installed front facing. I'm very happy with them so far. I'll see if I can update over a long period of time to see how they last.
