I Love, Love, Love this product... finally after paying for 4 different kinds of non-stick fry pans only to be totally disappointed... I've found the perfect product, YOUR STARFRIT ROCK COLLECTION. THANK, THANK, THANK YOU
The price was awesome and I had compared it with other brands before deciding to take another chance. Having the little 8" pan as a bonus offer included with the 11" was a convincing factor for me. Gotham Steel Ceramic and Titanium Nonstick Fry Pan 9.5" Non-stick so you can cook without butter or oils is false...Gotham can take a flying leap off anything they want to.... That product is a total flop and disappointment.
The ROCK.TEC Fry Pan stands up to what it advertises and that's what consumers want and need. THE ROCK TEC.... TOTALLY ROCKS!!!

Not happy with the lid

Replaced my old fry pan which also had a lid, think it may have been a less expensive brand possibly T- Fal. ZFor the most part like the new Rock deep Fry Pan however not happy with the lid for 2 reasons:
#1. the metal logo in the middle of the rubber handle on the lid will burn your hands if you don't use a mitt, so quite annoying you can't remove the lid unless you are wearing a mitt.
#2. the vent hole on top of the lid does not let very much steam escape so you have a lot of water/juices gathering that drip all over (if you're not paying attention) when you remove the lid.
I put out the extra $ thinking it would be better than my more reasonably priced T-Fal but feel although the pan is probably better quality it's lacking in overall design & function.

Kinda disappointed. I buy a lot of Starfrit products and i bought this to replace one I bought about 3 years ago that I love, but the bottom has warped and it cooks uneven now. From the get-go, this one is not heavy like my existing one and it appears like none of their others are either.

Pretty good but could use improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an existing teflon pan of a similar style. I was disappointed to discover that it could not be used at settings higher than medium heat as I intended to use it for things like boiling pasta which requires that I actually be able to raise the temperature to boiling. The oven rating of up to 350 F was also a bit disappointing since I often make recipes that would require a temperature of up to 450 F. I would have preferred to get one of the stainless steel ones with the same coating but there was not one available in this deep style with a lid.

Awesome Durability

I bought my first set 5 years ago and they are still going strong. I bought another set today because 2 is just not enough. I love them, they are so stylish and easy to clean. Nothing sticks.

Broken handle after 5 uses

Handle broke while washing in sink. Never been in dishwasher or dropped, or used with high heat. Very disappointed. Pan itself is very good, but kind of useless now!
