This pan is great for frying food for one. But was frying a hamburger and coating came off the bottom of the pan and burnt and stained the burner. I emailed the company and was told the bottom of the pan is not under warranty and would not affect the quality of the food. I replied saying it would not affect the food but now there is a burnt stain on the burner of our new stove. So then I was told to go out and buy cleaning products and tools to clean the stove. So now we have an un-usable pan and a bunch of cleaning products and tools
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used the Rock for the first time about 2 weeks ago. It was amazing. I loaned it to a chef friend of mine to use and he is in love with it too. Easy to clean and cooks so evenly.

This is the 3rd Starfit The Rock pan I have purchased. Love them ALL but this pan is particularly versatile with its depth and lid. I have used it for stews, stir fries, grilled steaks etc etc. I have cooked just about everything in this pan and it cleans up easily and perfectly every time! I hve thrown out all my other non stick pans and use The Rock pans exclusively!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleaned & rinsed well before using. Cons: Can only be used at low to medium heat?
You know the way the air smells in Canadian Tire - well that's exactly how my 2 perfectly good hamburgers tasted now wasted in the trash bin. Smell the pan before you buy it, you'll know what I mean. A waste of manufacturing skills.

It's true. Nothing sticks. I only worry about the chemical nature of the non-stick surface. There is no information on what it is and I would buy the whole set if I knew it wasn't teflon. I would like to know it's safe.

Love this product! Extremely easy clean up. Even heat. You would be very hard pressed to mess up an overeasy egg or fold an omelette.
The only thing I would have liked would be a glass lid.
