Does an excellent job

At first we thought that the single coil would not distribute even heat acrosss the griddle but, it does. Great non stick, even heat surface. Unit is very easy to clean. perfect size for kitchen counter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

my sister had this grill and loved it so i purchased one for myself. i love to cook big breakfasts and this grill does a great job. large cooking surface with even heat! love it!

we have used different electric griddles over the years and decided that we needed a new one. so we were in the store looking around at new ones when we spotted 'the rock '. we purchased it , took it home and prepared to cook non it the next morning. we just fell in love with it and will probably use the griddle for a long time to come.

Great electric griddle !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well and has a large surface. Can cook a whole pack of bacon on one placing. Drain pad is a great design, drips as you cook, hence less fat on food. The only minor issue is that the unit is a little slippery on a glass or stove surface.

High quality design

The biggest problem in cookware these days is durability, the number of frying pans and skillets I have that have been warped by heat because the metal is too thin is ridiculous, additionally I usually avoid non-stick cookware, care is too tedious, a properly seasoned cast iron pan is usually far better bang for the buck.
HOWEVER, this griddle is amazing, I've spent my life until now cooking breakfast in 3 separate pans, now I'm cooking it all on 1... it's heavy and hardy construction makes it durable and able to withstand heating and cooling over and over, simple elegant design means few components to break (more moving parts=shorter life usually), the drip channel at the front is a thoughtful idea for draining off excess grease without having to try and dump the whole thing, the non-stick surface works extremely well, although it took some getting used to not having to "unstick" my eggs half way through the cooking process, temperature control holds well (another reason I usually go for cast iron, heats more evenly than aluminum or steel) and its big enough that I can cook a couple pancakes, some sausages. and eggs on it, they call it family sized... its big enough for my morning meals at least!
I was going to give it 4/5 for features as it really only has 2, it cooks stuff, and has a drip tray, but thats all I want, anything more is just more unnecessary rubbish to break and get in the way, so it gets 5
