Incredible flagship device, power to the user!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The S23 Ultra is my first bleeding-edge flagship device, and it has impressed me at every turn.
First impressions:
SLEEK! Premium! Feels great in the hand, looks beautiful. Rounded screen is gorgeous. Then turn it on, the screen is SO VIBRANT. Everything looks incredible rendered on this phone. Sound is nice with the earpiece doubling as a stereo speaker from music and video playback.

Features:
The camera is unbelieveable. I just had my first child, so this is a killer feature for me. With 0.6x, 1x, 3x, and 10x optical lenses, the clarity of these photos is unrivaled by any other mobile device I've used. It has all the software whistles, so the photos always turn out great, often much better than I'd expect to be possible. Hyperlapse and slo-mo video are great too, and help me in my work troubleshooting machines.

The S-pen is super. Using it to trigger actions on the phone (like the camera shutter) is awesome. Since it is powered, and charges from the phone, the screen accuracy is amazing.
Fingerprint reader is great, and super convenient.
Battery charges fast, and lasts ALL day.
User power:
I have so much more control over my device than ever before. The settings that are exposed to me, the customizations I can make, the power toys, the freedom... it all makes me feel like it's MY phone, not a rented endpoint for big tech services.

"Modes" are wonderful (bedtime, working, at home, etc). Edge tray is very handy.

Great phone. Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has been a game changer when it's comes to night photography for me. I haven't tried other phones that tout their night photography capabilities but compared to other phones such as the s22 it's a night and day difference.
While the lack of an SD card slot is disappointing, the base model does come with 256gb of storage which is more than enough for a regular user. Let's be real though you don't get the ultra if you don't consider yourself a power user. Even then handling spreadsheets and editing documents would still fit with plenty of space to spare on 256gb of storage.
Dex mode is great on PC. Love it even if sometimes you can't use it to watch some content because of hdcp problems but that's not the phones fault. Sometimes it works if you connect to a monitor directly via an HDMI cable.
Overall it's a solid phone and I love it.

Great screen, love the camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone mostly for work, I have quite a few apps and cameras that I need to check in with on a regular basis. The screen is bright and clear, as well as large enough for my older eyes to be able to see well and navigate the apps using the stylus.
I also keep tropical fish and the camera has taken some of the best pictures I’ve ever got of them.
Overall I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
