Best phone ever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love my newly purchased S23 Ultra. From its stunning camera quality, vibrant screen display, rich visuals, and enhanced processing speed to its strong battery life. I traded in my S21 Ultra model for this and I haven't regretted this decision. It's been a rewarding and exciting experience so far by exploring features of the phone, such as, the labs, S Pen (I didn't have one for my S21 Ultra), and upgraded memory size (from 128 gb to 512 gb). While there isn't much difference between the S21 Ultra and the S23 Ultra in terms of features and apps, there's much to gain from the latter's capability and performance. I would definitely recommend the latest ultra to anyone switching from an S21 ultra with the base variant. Better photo and video quality arguably means larger image and video size. As a huge fan of 'trade ins', I look forward to upgrade my S23 Ultra with other future S models, may be not the S24 Ultra. Unless it's a major and super duper upgrade of its predecessor. For now, let me enjoy the phone of the year!!!

Great phone just a little bigger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My past 3 phones have been galaxy phones and I usually wait for a deal to get them. I was able to trade in my old galaxy phone and decided to get the ultra with 512G storage because of the lack of micro sd option. That was the one thing that disappointed me the most, not having a sd card option. The ultra wasn't my first choice, but when I saw the trade in option and free memory upgrade it made the choice a no brainer. So fast no complains.

I'm still excited to use the phone every single day. The screen, the feel, the power and functionality are just mind blowing... As a chain Samsung fan/customer just when I'm about to say Samsung cannot top a specific phone they pull something like the S23 ultra. I highly recommend this device, read about the many options and possibilities... You can even depend on it as your 2nd PC. TRY IT YOURSELF!

Exceptional, with Exceptions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the positives far outweigh the minor negatives. Except for a couple small irritations, this is a fantastic phone and I would have given a hearty 5 Stars. Put back the headphone jack, the heart rate sensor and the microSD card slot and put a charging block in the box and this would be perfect. The lack of those formerly standard features means I now have to spend extra $$ if I want to get those capabilities (earbuds=$$, SmartWatch=$$, 512Gb upgrade=$$, compatible charger=$$.)
On the + side, the camera is INCREDIBLE. THE 100X zoom will blow you away, the colors are vibrant and the details when cropping a photo are still incredibly crisp. The 5G is great if you have that service available. The dual SIM capability was my primary reason for upgrading from my S9+ and it does exactly what I was hoping it would do - allowed me to port my office landline to my cell phone and eliminate the need to constantly forward my business line when not in the office while keeping my 32 years primary business phone number.
The processing speed, screen size, color rendition and ease of use are what you would expect from a high end phone.

Every upgrade is actually a downgrade

I'm disappointed to find out that I no longer have the Magnetic stripe Transmitter on Samsung pay, so now I can only pay at places with nfc. Why even bother with it now. Furthermore, Without the expandable storage and no headphone jack, this feels like a downgrade. I wish I would have kept my Note 8. What a waste. I paid more for less features.

Near perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my device for work and I'm a concrete finisher so my phones gotta be tough, and the s23 ultra is tough. The galaxy note has always been my phone of choice. Mainly because I can use the stylus when my hands are covered in concrete and I don't have to worry about destroying my phone. I was a little more than sad when they terminated the Note line but the s23 ultra is essentially a Note with sup'd up cameras. The cameras on this phone are crazy good. I actually use my phone as binoculars when I need to see something beyond my naked eyes capabilites. It pretty awesome. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because that would mean it was perfect and then Samsung could just start slacking off. I do think it's super lame that they got rid of expandable storage. I mean as long as there is a sim tray, how hard is it to put an sd card slot next to it? You know, like it used to be? And my only other complaint is I would like to see dual sim capabilites on the s24. You have all that free space after getting rid of my beloved SD slot, lol. All in all it's a pretty darn good phone
