[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again Samsung continues to prove they can make a solid smart phone that moves the bar again on apple. While there are a few things I would like to have back from the old software I enjoy the phone. The Google messages is a good touch as well, but would like better options to control privacy of notifications.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S series faithfully since the S7, S8, S9, and so on. This is the best in the series yet. It takes great pictures, and friends have always noticed the quality of my photos. I rarely take my DSLR with me anywhere anymore.

Excellent Camera options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from my S8 to S23 Ultra. I will be using the S23 Ultra as my primary camera for photography. I like the cell phone camera format. It allows me the flexibility of movement while traversing the woods in search of images that capture my eye- easily stowed away for easy retrieval when needed. It allows me to capture the details of the flora on the forest floor in an intimate way that carrying a load of camera equipment around does not allow.

What Else Hasn't Been Mentioned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll try to mention the great things about this phone that haven't already been praised by everyone else. I upgraded from a Note20 Ultra and wasn't expecting a whole lot of differences, but the small things really do make a world of difference.
Besides the camera quality that everyone else has already mentioned, there are a few notable improvements that are flying under the radar. The ultrawide camera focuses, which makes it an excellent macro shooter. There's now a feature called focus enhancer now which keeps far and near objects in focus simultaneously.
Also, the built in speakers are amazing, with deep bass and clarity. It was never an issue for me with the Note20 Ultra, but listening to the two phones side-by-side makes a noticeable difference. The S23 Ultra's speakers ruined the Note's speakers for me.
Also, the Samsung black leather case complements the lavender phone color beautifully.
