[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sad when the Note 20 left us, but the S23 ultra put a smile on my face. Especially when I am in the zone and the phone is keeping up with me and sometimes it's ahead of me which is a saving grace. Thank you Samsung.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my S23 Ultra for everything possible. From games to searching to banking to writing tand to keeping in touch with friends and family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about upgrading from our Note 10+ 5G. After 4 years of holding off on upgrading phones we went ahead and did it. It's incredible how much changes on phones these days. The UI on the S23 Ultra is super smooth and performance is incredible. Definitely didn't disappoint Samsung, thanks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is definitely a super fast device with many user-friendly functions. If we are going to talk about the camera, it is one of the best on the market and what about the zoom? it's a real wonder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Admittedly, I like One UI, but it is bloated and causes performance issues. Coming from thr Note series, and having been a power user for many years, I've grown used to this. I've found various workarounds, and disabled many of the One UI add-ons that just don't work as well. The camera, as well as other hardware aspects are the tradeoff. The phone is very capable, and to be perfectly frank, a lot more than most people need. But, the same could be said for nearly all flagship handsets.
Overall, the S23 Ultra is a great phone and I'm very happy with it. The integration into Smartthings makes home automation easy and functional, but not necessarily needed, as Google Home also does an outstanding job. If it weren't for a few legacy Z-wave devices and other Samsung devices, I'd likely dump Smartthings and stick with Google. That said, Smartthings does do some integrations better.
Realistically, my only wish from Samsung, would to make it easier to remove/delete some of the bloated junk from One UI.
