Exceeding Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G having been a Note user since the Note 4. Although I was disappointed that the Note lineup had been discontinued. After reading the early specifications of the Samsung S23 Ultra I decided to upgrade to the phone and kept my fingers crossed. My apprehension was quickly erased. This phone is fantastic. I have the 512 GB model.
The first huge surprise is the fantastic battery life even with the screen resolution on WQHD+ setting on. This allows great streaming of videos and movies and top resolution. With heavy to moderate on screen time I still finish the day with over 50% battery remaining.
The sound on the phone is outstanding and was a noticeable improvement over my previous phone. That coupled with the high resolution and refresh rate of the display have made this phone a powerhouse for HD streaming.
The second is the attention to the Note aspects that I feared that would be lost. To the contrary, the S Pen function have been improved with newer bluetooth connectivity and lowered lag time when using it on the screen. It is a pleasure to use the S Pen in various modes both as a writing tool and a remote for applications.
To this point I have nothing but good to say about this phone. The S23 Ultra took a step up and has in my case surpassed what I had hoped for in all ways.

Great cameras

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from s22 ultra. I can definitely tell the difference in speed and picture quality. 50 megapixel setting is my favorite. Samsung can finetune the cameras with firmware updates. If you need a powerhouse phone, look no further than the s23 ultra.

S23 Ultra the Apex Predator of smartphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is at the top of the food chain. No camera compares to its powerful 200 megapixels raw power. Used the phone in high demanding military tracking apps without a sweat. Afterwards I connected my S23 Ultra to the battalion's conference room projector and using the built in Samsung Dex I was able to give the situation brief without a computer. Just the phone I was waiting for. No matter what I throw at it, it outperforms all other smartphones out there.

One of the best phones I've had
