It's time to retire the curve...
on May 1, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For anyone wanting to maximize the use of a stylus, this phone is not for you. I have owned every Samsung stulus phone from the Notes up to the current S23 and like all of it's curved predecessors the curve is problematic. There is a fall off point when drawing close to the phones left and right curved edges when using the stylus. Ironically, the top and bottom are fine, flat edges however they are both used for pull up/down menus. So in a nutshell, you have zero ability to write or draw to any edge. It's an awful design. Also, expect a cracked screen. I am extremely careful with my phones. I have never dropped my S23 but just like all my previous phones it has a crack. How? I did nothing to cause a crack. I would say it's a mystery with this phone except my S22 and the others before it have all cracked. It's no longer a surprise when I say "oh! there's the crack I was expecting." lol Expect a crack. Question to you Samsung, can we just build a durable phone? Not only one that's harder to crack but one that doesn't even require an additional case or glass protector? It comes built so that it just works, fully protected out of the box? I believe in you. You can do it!

In love with my Galaxy S23 Ultra everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Galaxy S23 Ultra, it plays a key role in my day-to-day life. I've been in love with my Galaxy since the Note 3 came out in 2013. The Galaxy S23 Ultra takes the cake as it stands today.
From taking notes with my S-pen,
Snapping shots still & in motion,
Photos selfies with my S-pen,
To its uncanny ability to keep a charge all day and so so so much more.
I simply adore this phone and I've inspired 6 family members to jump on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra train!
5 stars and I recommend it 100%.

Solid phone, great upgrade, sPen is awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a Samsung S9+ to this Samsung S23 Ultra in Feb 2023, and as of this review (May 2023) this has been a great upgrade. Don't get me wrong, even 5 years after the S9+ is still a great phone (testament to Samsung), but the growing sizes of app and inability to put apps on the S9+'s SD card meant I had to upgrade.
The S23 Ultra has a great screen, insanely better battery life, and the SPen has been amazing. Honestly, my spouse loves photography, so I got the phone for the lenses, and it hasn't disappointed. The SPen though, my kids LOVE borrowing my phone to draw with the pen (free drawing as well as 'coloring' photos. The biggest thing has been using the 'magnify' functionality, especially for learning a new language. I am dabbling with learning a couple languages that use writing systems different than my native system. When trying to read/learn the new languages, it makes it SO MUCH EASIER to simply pop out the pen and magnify the letters/characters to see the minor differences so I have a better idea of what matters. It would be tough to go without now.
I also LOVE the 45W charging capability. While I normally can't deplete my battery too low, if I do I can plug in for 15 min and have plenty of juice.
If you're looking for 'concerns', I miss my 3mm AUX jack,. I dearly miss the SD card capability as well. Also, the slight curve on the lateral edges makes screen protectors tough. I doubt these are deal breaking, your call.

Refined for excellence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I jumped from the s22 Ultra to the S23 Ultra. The changes are very minor BUT those minor changes and refinements make this phone one of the few devices that does not have any major weak points. Excellent battery life, superior cameras and better ergonomics for handling the device. Of course the unparalleled screen as usual. After 9 different phones and 5 different brands, Samsung you have done it! The perfect device...

Best Samsung Phone I Have Owned
on August 21, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The S23 Ultra is literally the best Samsung phone I have owned to date. It's fast and the larger screen let's me play my games better. On top of that, I love doodling on my phone with the S-Pen. Speaking of the S-Pen, I like that there is a pen-like device that I can use to write with, navigatevaround the screan, sign documents, or draw with. It is absolutely a game changer when compared to me using just my finger before owning a phone with the S-Pen.
Having sung its praises, I wish it still had a microSD card slot to increase the storage capacity and I wish it still had a headset jack so that I can use wired headsets. Other than those things, this phone was a great buy and love this phone!

Superior camera/vid & enhanced stylus performance
on August 22, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rated it 4 stars! Mostly for the camera, 8k video performance, as well as the mellifluous, yet user-friendly advancements to the S-series stylus performance and, options.
I would've rated it 5 stars but the S23 Ultra seemed to have way more factory apps that take up a TON OF DATA. That unfortunately means fewer apps are able to be downloaded. Couple that with its lack of ability to add an SD card or ny additional memory/data options and it leaves the Internal Storage looking emaciated compared to previous versions or any of the contemporary competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone! The screen quality is great. The battery life is phenomenal. The storage.......crazy amazing. I was able to transfer my things from my note 10 to my ultra and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. It has this feature where it grammatically corrects you? It's very helpful especially when doing assignments. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

King of all Trades

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy $23
Ultra, and I'm blown away by its capabilities. The highlight for me is the 200 MP camera,
which takes stunning photos and videos in
any lighting. Its ability to shoot in 8K and
super slow-mo at 1080p is just fantastic.
The display is another major plus - it's large and boasts a resolution that's hard to find elsewhere, When it comes to audio, the
clarity is astounding, and the LDAC support for HD audio over Bluetooth is a great feature, But the real game-changer is the S Pen, It's not just a stylus, it's a powerhouse of features, I use it to remotely take pictures, handwrite texts with predictive support, and even convert my handwriting into text messages, It's so intuitive and user-friendly that I find myself using it constantly, to the point where I upgraded to the S Pen Pro, which suits my large hands better.Drawing on the S23 Ultra is a joy, and the experience has been so good that I'm considering getting a Samsung tablet for more extensive artwork, In summary, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is a powerhouse of a phone with a superb camera, excellent display, clear audio, and an outstanding S Pen, It's a device that not only meets but exceeds expectations.
